Mackenzie Wasner Features On Rob Snyder Track ‘My Dear Mama’

On Friday, June 12th, American singer/songwriter Rob Snyder releases his thoughtful new album ‘The Way That I Am’ which features a selection of heartfelt, and honest songs that perfectly tell the story of who Rob is as a person and as a musician. It’s an emotive release and is already starting to pick up some major traction in the States.

The 10-track offering is a collection of tracks that offer real insight into the mind of Snyder and having worked with top writers in Nashville, the LP has a sweet country-esque storytelling style running throughout making it one of the top releases of the year so far.

One of the singer/songwriters in Music City that Rob Snyder co-wrote with was rising talent Mackenzie Wasner. Together the pair penned the charming ‘My Dear Mama’ which is a love letter to the strong women who raised them. After working on the track together, Snyder then invited Wasner to join him on vocals and the result is a divine vocal harmony.

Speaking about working on the song, Mackenzie Wasner says: “This one just fell out the first time we all wrote together and then somehow I was lucky enough to find myself in the studio to sing on it too…. which was super special and a win-win for me!!! this entire album is GOLD”.

It’s a sweet offering that will no doubt strike a chord with many listeners across the world. Paying homage to their mothers the lyrical approach tells a beautiful story of selfless love and an everlasting, unbreakable bond between mother and child. A gorgeous release and huge standout on the entire LP.
