Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd Release ‘Chasing After You’ Duet

Country music Grammy award-winning/nominated superstars and husband and wife Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd have teamed up for a truly stunning collaboration titled ‘Chasing After You’ which is their first official duet with the song focusing on loneliness, longing, and waiting.

The pair’s romance began in the writing rooms of Nashville but up until now, they had yet to record an official release together however that has now all changed for the doting couple who are parents to Hayes as they collide on the breathtaking offering that showcases both of their amazing talents in one package.

The song has been co-written by Music City’s songwriters Brinley Addington and Jerry Flowers and is a track that is already pretty famous amongst artists and writers on Music Row and has been put on hold for a number of performers in recent years but never made it on to radio as an official single.

Thankfully the track has now been brought into the world thanks to Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd after the two multi-talented singer/songwriters picked up ‘Chasing After You’ and decided to record and release it as a glorious duet making it one of the best offerings and collaborations of the year so far.

Speaking about the single, Ryan Hurd says: “I felt really blessed when it kind of fell to me a couple of years ago. We were on a beach in the Cayman Islands – I think it was the first trip we ever took together — and Maren was like, ‘I want to sing on that song with you.’ So this is years in the making”.
