O&O Announce Reimagined Version Of ‘Dancing On The Floor’

Back last year, British country-Americanna duo O&O wowed with a string of releases including ‘When It Comes To Love’, and ‘Dancing On The Floor’ and now as we usher in 2021, the pair are ready to wow once again with the breathtaking reimagined version of the aforementioned ‘Dancing On The Floor’.

The forthcoming remix will drop on Friday, January 22nd, and will see the London based act taking apart the original production and introducing a gorgeous stripped-back vibe including luscious piano keys, and stunning strings breathing new life into the original and giving it a fresh new soundscape.

The delivery of the cello and piano arrangement, in particular, makes this latest rendition of the February 2020 smash-hit a major standout offering from O&O and allows for them to shine a light on their simply stunning vocal harmonies like never before thanks to the simplicity of the musical backdrop.

Speaking about the release, O&O say: “We chose to feature piano and cello in contrast to our signature, guitar-led sound. Because the single already has a definitive version, it was incredibly freeing to reimagine a completely new arrangement and mood – a darker alter-ego to the original track and something we have never done before.”

That freedom and daring sensibility to be bold enough to pick apart the original ‘Dancing On The Floor’ offering has allowed for the fast-rising duo to create a gorgeous new dynamic that makes the track stand out and become a brand new song in its own right thanks to its fresh sound.
