O&O Release New Single ‘A Spark Away From Fire’

London based country music duo O&O return with their latest offering titled ‘A Spark Away From Fire’ which is out now across all leading digital download and streaming platforms with them delivering an Americana tinged track that strikes the perfect balance between the two genres.

It’s a welcome return to the UK scene for the Israeli-American folk-inspired duo consisting of Obadiah Jones & Orian Peled with them showcasing their ever-maturing soundscape and tight harmonies creating a luscious roots backdrop that is classic in sound with a modern overlay.

Back in 2020, they were just starting to get booked for multiple UK roots festivals before the world shut down due to Coronavirus lockdown restrictions but they have spent the last 18 months hard at work on new music and this stellar single is the first taste of what they’ve been creating.

Speaking about the track, O&O say: “Most of our relationship songs up to this point have been based on our personal experiences. “While working on these lyrics, however, we dreamt up a storyline of two people being unfaithful to their respective partners. Their conflicted feelings about the affair create this duet. The fire is their passion for one another, but also the inevitable destruction of their relationships.”

It’s an excellent song to come back with and puts the spotlight on the intricate writing style they possess whilst giving a delightful teaser of what’s on the horizon from the pair who have plenty of new music ready to be shared with their growing listenership throughout 2022 and beyond.
