Peter Peres Releases New Single ‘Mess Of Me’

It is an honest and raw offering that sees Peter Peres delivering his most authentic song yet – it’s a break-up story that is steeped in realism as much of what is detailed within the story arc comes from a very real place for the performer who always tries to ensure that his songs are truthful.

Along with sharing the official audio for ‘mess Of Me’, Peres has also this weekend shared the music visual for the stellar track further enhancing its global reach and giving listeners a more in-depth look at the lyrics and what they mean which will, in turn, mean more people come across the song.

Speaking about the release, Peter says: “Mess Of Me was the first song I wrote with Rich Cloke and Elias James. When we got in the writing room, we jumped ideas around on things that can happen during a breakup and a big one that stuck out was the idea of still going back even though the relationship is over. So we based the song on that idea and threw in some of our past experiences that were similar. For our first time ever writing together, we were very in sync and all the ideas we had fit perfectly in the song. This song is one of my favourites from my upcoming debut EP and the minute we wrote it, I knew right away that I wanted to include it. Most of the scenarios mentioned in the song I’ve experienced myself so it’s very meaningful to me”.
