Bailey Tomkinson Announces New Single ‘Can’t Lose’
Following on from the success of the hit single ‘Skin’ back in December 2021, Cornwall’s rising star Bailey Tomkinson has formally announced te details of her brand new single titled ‘Can’t Lose’ which releases this Friday, March 11th.
The latest track from the multi-skilled singer/songwriter once again sees her effortlessly bringing together several genre elements, drawing inspiration from styles including folk, pop, Americana and country to create a sonic stylistic that stands out from what we’re currently hearing.
There’s no denying that Bailey Tomkinson is one of the UK’s brightest rising stars across ange style of music and with this forthcoming standout offering, ‘Can’t Lose’ she has demonstrated that she has what it takes to become a bonafide International superstar across multiple markets.
Speaking about the track, Bailey states: “I was listening to a lot of 80s East Coast rock when I wrote ‘Can’t Lose’ – Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen that kind of thing. I had in mind a real homage to the New York sound of that era, adding Michael Underwood’s incredible sax to the band really helped bring that energy. I even managed to sneak a nod to Carly Simon in the lyrics too”.
This newest release, which drops this Friday, from the young and fast-rising performer feels like a coming of age record, a song that will define her soundscape in the coming years and create the foundation of what’s to come from the future chart sensation.
