Poppy Fardell Announces New Single ‘Drive’ Featuring Tim Prottey-Jones
Fresh from the release of her incredible single ‘Hometown Hero’ back last month, fast-rising British country crossover talent Poppy Fardell returns this coming Friday (December 4th) with her brand new offering ‘Drive’ which delivers a luscious pop-infused soundscape and gorgeous vocals.
The latest track from Fardell sees the UK performer building on the success of her previous 2020 hits and offers listeners a fresh new sonic style and brilliant image evoking lyrical story that has been expertly crafted by the London based singer alongside fellow country-influenced artist Liv Austen.
The song will no doubt strike a chord with listeners across the world with the lyrics telling the story of being with somebody who makes you feel safe and able to take risks again. It’s that one person we all want and need in our lives and ‘Drive’ brings that vision to life perfectly throughout the storyline.
The newest single from Poppy Fardell also features guest vocals from British country music sensation Tim Prottey-Jones who perfectly lends his strong vocal with the two singers colliding on an epic chorus that is reminiscent of The Shires’ best releases. Speaking about ‘Drive’, Poppy says: “This was the first time Liv and I wrote together and instead of the standard heartbreak story, all I kept saying was how loved up I was. I’d had the idea for ‘Drive’ for a while and Liv certainly jumped straight in the car with me on this one. It’s basically a love letter to that person who finally made it safe for me to be vulnerable again”.
