Rodney Crowell Announces New Album ‘Triage’

Country music legend and total icon of the genre Rodney Crowell has formally announced the exciting details of his much-anticipated 18th studio album with the brand new LP ‘Triage’ dropping across all leading platforms on July 23rd via his own label imprint RC1 and Thirty Tigers.

The forthcoming record is being led by Crowell’s newest single titled ‘Something Has To Change’ which is out now and is also accompanied by a striking visual which has been expertly directed by renowned musician and filmmaker Haroula Rose and was filmed at Castle Recording Studios in Franklin, TN.

‘Triage’ will be the third album that Rodney Crowell has released via his own independent record label RC1, and also his first in partnership with Thirty Tigers which kick-starts an exciting dual-release contract strategy with the American-based label meaning it will get an extra global boost.

Well-known for his quality songwriting, this new LP was penned during the great political, climate, and economic upheaval that has been the backdrop to recent years and it is a dynamic departure in terms of sonic style and also features his most personal songs yet making for a revealing, and honest collection.

Speaking about the project, ‘Triage’ producer Dan Kobler states: “On December 1st, 2019 Rodney and I began to work on a group of new songs. In fits and starts, the process of refinement, reconstruction, and realization took us through the new year and into this new era of isolation”.
