Willie Jones Releases New Single ‘Down By The Riverside’

Earlier this year, on-the-rise country crossover performer Willie Jones broke barriers with his revolutionary cross-genre debut album ‘Right Here’, and the thought-provoking hit single ‘American Dream’ which sparked a conversation about the way Black people are treated in America.

And with the stellar LP that features an eclectic blend of sonic styles still garnering attention across the globe, the multi-talented artist has returned with his brilliant new single titled ‘Down By The Riverside’ which is his first offering since signing to Sony Music and is released in partnership with Penthouse.

The electrifying, anthemic hit was co-penned by Willie Jones alongside skilled music-makers Josh Logan, and Jason Afable and was also expertly produced by Afable who creates a dynamic backdrop that delivers a fantastic multi-genre fusion that is laced throughout the soundscape.

It is yet another stunning blend of RnB, and traditional country styles allowing for Willie to showcase that he is very much an artist in his own lane making the music that he wants to and not being penned into any particular genre box which makes him one of the most exciting acts to be rising the ranks.

Speaking about the impressive track, country music’s newest star Willie Jones says: “This song is straight Louisiana jambalaya: Swampy, Sexy and drippin’ all over the floor.
