Sam Turner Announces New Single ‘God’s Own Country’
Following on from his win at the 2020 UK Songwriting Contest with his stellar debut single ‘The Little Things In Life’, on-the-rise country-influenced singer/songwriter Sam Turner returns this April with his eagerly awaited sophomore offering titled ‘God’s Own Country.
The folk-driven track incorporates elements from the country genre to create a dynamic, and unique soundscape whilst the image evoking lyrical story celebrates the achievements of his beloved hometown and the entire Yorkshire county making for a deeply personal release from the multi-talented performer.
The way Sam Turner is able to bring together a multitude of acoustic genre styles such as folk, country, and Americana is a testament to his talent, and the influences from the likes of Luke Combs, Keith Urban, and Tim McGraw are clear throughout his musical stylistic allowing him to let his vocal and the lyrics do the talking without a need for heavy production.
The impressive new single from Turner will get its official release on April 2nd where it will be available to stream and download across all leading digital platforms after it has already racked up more than 50,000 views across YouTube during which he performs at Flamborough Head.
