Charlotte Young Announces New EP ‘Coffee and Conversations’
Fast-rising UK CMSA Newcomer of the Year Charlotte Young is ready to take the next step on her promising career with the release of her hotly anticipated sophomore EP titled ‘Coffee and Conversations’ on April 5th across all leading digital download and streaming platforms.
The forthcoming record sees the Carrie Underwood influenced singer/songwriter building on her breakout success of the past few years and gives her the platform to further showcase her musical growth and maturity with a truly impressive tracklist of wonderfully crafted songs.
With ‘Coffee and Conversations’, Charlotte Young delivers a sweeping soundscape that flows through the five songs featured on the project which also includes the fan-favorite ‘On The Loose’ making for a superb collection from one of the UK’s brightest emerging country stars.
Speaking about the upcoming record, Young says: “My second EP brings more tales, a collective of country themes that are familiar from the first record but more adult with each song. I wanted to showcase these songs as if they were conversations, a story to be told with each verse. Mixing together country feel and instruments, storytelling and a whole lot of heart, Coffee and Conversations captures me as an artist and hopefully makes you all feel like we’re having a coffee and a catch-up.”
It’s an expertly crafted five-track exploration of multi-faceted themes that make you feel like you’re having a cozy catch-up over your favorite coffee with Charlotte – a unique setting for a record and one that allows for the Birmingham performer to push the sonic boundaries even further.
