Sarah Darling Begins Work on Fifth Studio Album
Having been set to begin recording new music back in March just before lockdown began in Nashville, Sarah Darling has now returned to the studio to officially begin work on her fifth studio album which will follow on from her 2019 UK Number 1 Country Album ‘Wonderland’.
The performer who has become an adopted Brit due to her constant tour dates in Britain has yet to return to her second home this year due to travel restrictions and the global lockdowns put in place but fans will be delighted to hear she is now able to start laying down tracks for the forthcoming record while she has kept listeners entertained throughout quarantine with her live-streams across Facebook and Instagram.
And on August 7th she got into the recording studio in Nashville to begin work on the upcoming album which promises to be her most introspective release yet, especially as several of the songs have been penned during isolation which has given Darling new viewpoints and lyrical inspiration which will no doubt be weaved throughout the tracklist.
Although British fans, in particular, will be familiar with several of the new songs that will be included on the body of work most notably ‘Waves’, and ‘Hungover’ which have now been officially mastered by the performer so are in the running to be included on the final tracklist and new tracks ‘Make It Beautiful’, and ‘Get To Me’ are also set to feature.
The upcoming record is also set to be a real women empowerment release as Sarah Darling has teamed with Emily Shackelton, and Jenn Bostic for much of the album with Shackelton largely producing the whole project which is set to be the Iowa native’s best LP yet.
