Sarah Darling Shares ‘Wide Open Spaces’ Lyric Video

American country music sensation Sarah Darling has today (Friday, July 10th) shared her breathtaking rendition of The Chicks’ global hit ‘Wide Open Spaces’ which tells the lyrical story of a girl leaving home for the first time in order to pursue her dreams. This is a tale that rings true for the US singer/songwriter as she herself left her smalltown hometown of Des Moines Iowa aged 18 to make the move to Nashville in order to create music full time.

The track has been shared as part of Darling’s stripped back acoustic project titled ‘Campfire Sessions’ which began late last year and sees a series of covers being shared by Sarah all of which have played a pivotal role in the music she creates herself today. All tracks across the EP project have been produced by Cheyenne Medders.

With this latest offering, the Nashville based performer delivers a spinetingling divine vocal that sets her apart from the rest and showcases her incredible vocal. Sarah Darling is always an artist that transports and this track conjures up a magical little escape to somewhere beautiful.

And along with dropping the official audio, Darling has also shared the gorgeous lyric video which brings to life the track and its lyrical story perfectly. With snapshots of Sarah throughout her life in breathtaking landscapes the clip which has been put together by Yellow Mouse Studios is stunning and a perfect complement to the track.
