Scotty McCreery Announces New Single ‘You Time’
Following on from the release of his third consecutive number 1 smash-hit single ‘In Between’ earlier this summer, US country music crossover sensation has confirmed that he will be dropping a brand new single on September 23rd titled ‘You Time’ which promises to be one of the most impressive releases of the year.
The romantic, sweet song has been inspired by McCreery’s wife Gabi and is the first official track to be shared off the singer/songwriter’s forthcoming and eagerly awaited new full-length album which has yet to be given a release date. The lead single has been penned by Scotty alongside Frank Rogers and Aaron Eshuis and offers a gorgeous first taste of the upcoming record.
The new LP from the American Idol star will be his fifth studio project and is his first album since the 2018 release ‘Seasons Changes’ which included three number 1 singles including the aforementioned ‘In Between’ and this latest single is expected to be another global hit with McCreery once again delivering a stunning lyrical and vocal offering.
Speaking about the forthcoming ‘You Time’ single and its poignant lyrical story via The Country Daily, Scotty McCreery said: “I am so excited about releasing new music, especially a song that makes me think of Gabi and puts me in a joyful mood. I think we can all use a smile right now.”
As an artist Scotty always looks to deliver a truthful message throughout his songs and this newest release is no different with the performer digging deep to tell a story of deep-rooted true love that is emotive and poignant as he opens up his relationship with his beloved wife Gabi.
