Shania Twain and Anne-Marie Collaborate on ‘Unhealthy’

And just like that, we have Song of the Summer thanks to pop powerhouse Anne-Marie teaming up with country music icon Shania Twain on the R&B-infused smash ‘Unhealthy’ which is available to stream and download across all leading digital platforms from today (Friday, May 19).

The ear-worm offering sees Anne-Marie and Twain joining forces to narrate the toxic traits of a relationship you know is headed to fall off the tracks, but enjoying the rush of the highs of the rollercoaster whilst accepting the lows just to able to get high off those good parts regardless how unhealthy a habit.

The nailed-on chart hit was penned by Anne-Marie, alongside The Castle, Connor McDonough, and Riley McDonough and produced by Riley and Connor with the team of music-makers coming together to craft a pop-R&B smash that will be blasting across the airwaves in the coming weeks,

To have two strong, and independent women shining the light on the toxicity that can exist within a relationship and the sense of accepting the fate of a doomed ending just to be able to get that rush is something we don’t really hear that much but shows that anyone can be sucked into that high-low pendulum swing dynamic.

Shania Twain and Anne-Marie teaming up is probably one of the biggest curve-balls in music this year, but it works extremely well and ‘Unhealthy’ is a track that is going to be stuck in your head on a loop long after you’ve pressed pause – get ready to belt this out at festivals this summer too.
