Ward Thomas Release ‘If It All Ends Today’ With Catherine McGrath

Having recently been dubbed as “the Queens of British country music” by the Express newspaper, Ward Thomas return today (Friday, May 26) with the release of their stunning collaboration with Catherine McGrath on ‘If It All Ends Today’ a track that originally featured on their fifth studio album ‘Music In The Madness’,

The song instantly became a fan favourite and it has now been reworked by the duo with them enlisting the help of Northern Irish country artist Catherine McGrath who has added her stunning vocals which creates a heady three-part harmony that lifts the track to new heights and adds a stunning new dimension.

Speaking about having McGrath featured, Ward Thomas’ Lizzy says: “We are so thrilled to have Catherine McGrath sing on this song with us as not only has she become a great friend but we’ve always admired her as an artist and love her music!”, while McGrath adds: “I always have a fun time with Catherine and Lizzy, so I was so happy to be asked to join them on this track from their latest album. The UK country scene has always been such a warm and supportive community and to be collaborating with such great artists and people makes me so proud to be part of it.”

Along with sharing the official audio for download and streaming, the three girls have also shared the official music video for ‘If It All Ends Today’ – a stunning piece of creativity that allows the song’s striking lyrical story to truly come to life.

It is a divinely inspired county offering from Ward Thomas who once again show that they are two of the finest songwriters the UK scene as a whole has to offer. Introspective, thought-provoking, and uplifting, ‘If It All Ends Today’ tells the story of the world falling down around you, but it’ll be okay so long as you’re able to have that one person who brings you inner calmness beside you.

Adding of the track. Lizzy states: [It’s] “All about those moments when the world is feeling overwhelming and all you want to do is reach out to that person who brings you peace and reassurance.”
