The Rising Announce New Single ‘Break The Chains’

Irish country-rock duo The Rising have had a wonderfully busy, and exciting few months in terms of releasing new music which has seen them landing on multiple Spotify playlists and racking up impressive streaming numbers and now they are ready to showcase their talents and growth further with the release of ‘Break The Chains’.

The forthcoming offering from singer/songwriters Chantelle, and Chris will see them delving into political views with the standout song dropping across all leading digital download and streaming platforms from Friday, July 23rd as they continue on their strategy of sharing a new track every few weeks.

Speaking about the song, the pair said: “The song was written after seeing the news throughout 2020 onwards where a lot of social topics such as racism, gender equality and human rights were brought to the fore. We were compelled to write this song as a reply to all of this and also as a way to make sense of it all. The song is a call to arms to every human on the planet to come together as one united human race, be kind to each other and put out the fires of hatred and discrimination before it’s too late and there is no way back for us”.

It is a deep, heavy, and poignant offering from The Rising and one that shows they are unafraid to delve deep into their souls when it comes to writing – and due to the nature of the lyrical story, they have also gone with a brooding production creating a striking sonic soundscape that elevates the darkening vibes.
