The Wandering Hearts Release New Single ‘On Our Way’
Country-Americana trio The Wandering Hearts are currently on the promo trail for their forthcoming self-titled studio album which was originally slated for release this July but due to COVID related production issues the record will now be dropping on August 6th – but the extra wait will surely be worth it from what we’ve heard so far.
And as they ready their new LP, the three-piece harmony-driven band have shared yet another new single off the forthcoming tracklist with the impressive ‘On Our Way’ available to download and stream right now across all leading digital platforms – it is expected to be one of their most streamed releases yet.
The latest offering from The Wandering Hearts follows on from their truly stellar single’s ‘Dolores’, ‘Gold’, and ‘Dreams’ with track showcasing yet another side of the upcoming album’s soundscape with the theme of the body of work being very much on human connection and the hopeful message that we are all stronger together.
Penned pre-Coronavirus ‘On Our Way’ feels extremely timely right now with the trio delivering a positive lyrical story of hope, and that quiet knowledge that brighter days are on the horizon which is something we are all holding onto right now as we navigate life during these trying times in an ever-changing landscape of normality.
Speaking about the song, The Wandering Heart’s Tara Wilcox says: “With the end of lockdown in sight, this song has a poignancy for us that it didn’t have before. After a really hard year for everyone, there’s finally a light at the end of the tunnel. At its core, this is a song about friendship; acknowledging the power we have to positively impact one another’s lives. We can reassure and support and take some of the strain if we see someone struggling. Someone has done it for you before, now it’s your turn to do the same. We take it in turns to lift each other up”.
