Laura Evans Shares ‘Good At Getting Over You’ Video
Genre-defying country-blues artist Laura Evans has shown once again that she is one of the industries most talented artists with the release of her anthemic new single titled ‘Good At Getting Over You’ which is a joyful take on a break up which creates a dynamic juxtaposition between the lyrical story, and sonic production.
And with the toe-tapping, sing-a-long anthem dropping across all digital download and streaming platforms from today (Friday, June 25th), the multi-talented singer/songwriter has now shared the official music video for the track allowing it to take on another excellent and striking dimension.
The truly stellar visual has been expertly filmed and directed by the outstanding filmmaker Kris Barras who has done a fantastic job of creating a wonderful aesthetic that allows for Laura Evans to take centre stage within the live-performance based music video that puts the spotlight on her vocal prowess.
Speaking about the track, Laura Evans says: “We had just finished recording vocals for my last single “Solo” back in October and we had no intention of writing a new song that day, we were just taking a break and jamming, Josiah played some really cool chords on his grand piano and I started singing this chorus melody that just came from nowhere, then on my 4-hour drive back to London I came up with the lyric idea and wanted to put a positive spin on breaking up with someone, that night the song was written and we recorded it back at Momentum a few months later”
The Welsh talent is a credit to the country crossover scene and this latest offering is just a little taste of what she is capable of – she is an incredibly gifted performer and with this newest single she has showcased that her vocal and songwriting talent have the potential to make her a global superstar.
