Twinnie Releases New Album ‘Hollywood Gypsy – Acoustic’

Back in April of this year during the second month of the enforced UK lockdown, BMG recording artist Twinnie shared her long-awaited debut album ‘Hollywood Gypsy’ with the record instantly becoming a contender for “album of the year” and consistently winning praise from critics and fans alike.

Since its official release six months ago the LP has racked up in excess of seven million streams and also been named as Radio 2’s Album Of The Week, and now to celebrate its success the York country-pop sensation has dropped the acoustic version of the body of work giving it a whole new dynamic.

The reimagined version sees Twinnie re-working the whole tracklist into a chilled acoustic vibe that takes the songs back to their original country roots of how they were originally written: a guitar, and a vocal. The result is truly phenomenal and allows for the singer/songwriter to really let her outstanding vocal shine.

The Brit performer is, without doubt, one of this generation’s finest vocalists and with this latest release, she has also showcased the immense talent that lies within her incredible storytelling skillset. She has a seemingly effortless ability to weave thoughtful poignant, and uplifting stories whilst remaining true to herself as a person and artist and is also an accomplished producer having co-produced both the original and acoustic versions of the albums.

The acoustic version of ‘Hollywood Gypsy’ also includes a stunning collaboration with Nashville artist Lucie Silvas who features on the divine ballad ‘Superhero’ whilst the record also contains the bonus addition of the fan-favorite ‘Cupid’ which is a major standout on the impressive repackaged offering.

There’s no denying that Twinnie is one of the most talented singer/songwriters the UK has ever produced and with this new re-release of the ‘Hollywood Gypsy’ album she has shone a light on her immense talent and in the process has cemented her status as the leading British female country-pop performer.
