Twinnie Shares ‘Just Like Earle’ Video

Warning!! The new music video from Twinnie for the latest single ‘Just Like Earle’ is a little bit psychotic – but it is all in good fun…. Have you ever had those moments where you could just “kill” your partner? You never would, but it’s fun to imagine right? This tongue-in-cheek clip from the York native perfectly plays off that narrative.

Now based permanently in Nashville, Twinnie has had some serious success in recent weeks most notably having her single ‘Bad Man’ playlisted on 55 Cumulus Country Radio stations in the US and she will continue to build on that success with the release of the ‘Blue Hour (After Dark) EP on October 20.

But before fans get the full body of work, the English singer/songwriter is proving that Hell really does hath no fury like a woman scorned with the ‘Just Like Earle’ music video which co-stars Scottish artist Sean C Kennedy as Earle. The clip expertly brings the sarcasm and cynicism of the lyrics to life.

Speaking about the track, Twinnie says: “The only place where murder is legal is in a song. This EP is about all the different stages of grief we go through after a breakup. I wanted some light, humorous relief to the sad girl era I’ve been in. I took inspiration from The Chicks’ ‘Goodbye Earl,’ and I think of this as part 2 of that song.”

There are few artists releasing the quality of music that Twinnie is right now, especially on such a regular basis and this new era is being supported by both fans and critics alike. ‘Blue Hour (After Dark)’ promises to spearhead an exciting chapter before more music arrives in 2024.
