Twinnie Shares ‘More’ Music Video
During the first weeks of the enforced UK lockdown which has been put in place by the British government in a bid to slow the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) disease, country-pop sensation Twinnie dropped her incredible debut LP ‘Hollywood Gypsy’ which became a huge top-five hit on the Official UK Country Album Chart, and was also named as Radio 2’s Album Of The Week.
The record has seen a number of breakout singles being lifted off the impressive tracklist including ‘Better When I’m Drunk’, ‘Social Babies’, ‘Superhero’, ‘I Love You Now Change’, and most recently ‘More’ all of which have showcased different sides to the stellar project which incorporates a variety of sonic sounds such as classic country, modern pop, and soft rock.
The latest track to be shared as an official single is the infectious ‘More’ which is a sassy, tongue-in-cheek take on what Twinnie is looking for in a partner and how she won’t settle for less. Always one for an honest approach the lyrical story is upfront and relatable whilst the pop-infused production makes this a major standout.
During quarantine in her native York where she spent the first two and a half months of lockdown at her mother’s home before returning to her London flat earlier this month, the rising British superstar filmed a music video for ‘More’ with help from several friends including Emily Krueger, Michael Oates and Dane Collison who together expertly put the clips in place to create the overall segment.
The clip sees retro shots spliced into new film captures of Twinnie performing the track in her car and also in a sun-drenched field which perfectly brings the song’s message to life by allowing for the summery, anthemic vibes to shine through. At home clips are also included which give the whole video an authentic aesthetic that showcases Twinnie’s fun personality.
