Twinnie’s ‘Hollywood Gypsy’ Album Reaches 7 Million Streams
Today is a milestone in the life of Twinnie’s debut album ‘Hollywood Gypsy’ with the record having surpassed the seven million streaming mark across platform Spotify; huge numbers for a new name within the industry in terms of releases and even more so during a year of turmoil and upheaval.
The album had a subdued release due to the fact it dropped on April 17th just three weeks into the enforced UK lockdown meaning the York singer/songwriter was not able to promote the LP in the usual way. The CD was not stocked in stores, there were no live performances or signings, and her tour was also postponed due to restrictions.
However these setbacks have not got in the way of Twinnie and success with her incredible inaugural offering that is shared via BMG having been named BBC Radio 2 Album Of The Week, spending five consecutive weeks within the top-five on the UK Country Album Chart, and even peaking at number 1 on the iTunes all-genre countdown and now it has smashed it in the streaming world.
And the exciting news from the country-pop powerhouse keeps coming as along with confirming the huge amount of streams the impressive record has so far garnered the English performer has also announced that something special is coming on October 23rd with her telling fans to make sure they follow her Spotify page in order to be the first to hear the news.
The year 2020 has like for many not been a straightforward one for Twinnie with her having been faced with a number of obstacles but the success of her debut album has been a major highlight and as she continues to push for global stardom these standout stats are only set to rise even further.
Music and Tour News would like to congratulate Twinnie on the continued success of ‘Hollywood Gypsy’.
