UNa Healy Releases New Single ‘This Is Your Life’

After a little while away from releasing new music, Irish country singer/songwriter Una Healy has made a triumphant return today (Thursday, October 13th) with her powerful new single titled ‘This Is Your Life’ which is available to stream and download across all leading digital platforms.

The emotive ballad has a striking lyrical story that takes listeners on a journey whilst emphasising that you only get one chance at this so don’t be afraid of taking risks and making mistakes – this is your life and you need to live it for yourself. It offers a really insightful perspective into each individual’s life story.

For the moving track, Una Healy teamed up with Anna Krantz (Ed Sheeran, Maren Morris) with the pair writing a hugely impressive song that will leave fans feeling energised and excited about their own lives whilst delivering a stunning vocal with a production that incorporates country and folk elements.

The standout single will also be accompanied by a beautiful official music video, that has been directed, filmed and edited by the amazing filmmaker Joseph Sinclair – the visual was filmed in London and will be released next week so be sure to keep your eyes open for that as it is not to be missed.

Speaking about her latest release, Una Healy says: “I originally started writing ‘This Is Your Life’ nearly 25 years ago when I was a teenager when I was just beginning my career as a singer/songwriter.  I went back to it many times over the years but was never able to finish it until recently. I realise now that I never had the life experience or perspective to get to the heart of the song until now.  The song is all about those mistakes you make to work out who you are, and what you want out of life. Even when life may feel difficult or even hopeless at times, you have to remember that without those struggles, you may never truly know what brings you joy.”
