Vic Allen Announces New Single ‘Drive-Thru’
Fast-rising British country music talent Vic Allen returns on Friday, August 13th with her excellent new single titled ‘Drive-Thru’. The song is expected to spearhead this new musical chapter from Allen and showcase to the world that she is ready to take a huge leap toward global chart success.
The forthcoming offering sees the singer/songwriter crafting a story arc that tells the tale about a star-crossed person who falls in love after a night spent driving around in Nashville – it’s a heady mix of lust and deep connection that collides to create this epic track that allows Viv the opportunity to shine a light on her soaring vocal.
The euphoric, anthemic offering has been expertly produced by the incredibly talented UK producer Barnabas Shaw who has done a superb job of crafting a sonic backdrop that brings the lyrical story to life whilst giving Vic Allen’s vocal plenty of room to breathe so that it can truly shine.
This is the UK artist’s first new single release since the start of COVID and it is an outstanding return – ‘Drive-Thru’ showcases all facets of her artistry with her demonstrating a clear desire to step up in terms of sonic overlay, and intricate songwriting with a track that is inspired by her own experiences.
Speaking about the lyrical inspiration for the upcoming upbeat anthem that is based on her own late-night drive through the city of Nashville several years ago with her now ex-partner, Vic Allen says: “Looking back on the experience I don’t think it crossed my mind… but I fell in love that night”.
