Ward Thomas Release New LIve EP
British country-pop duo Ward Thomas have today (Friday, June 10th) released their brand new EP which was recorded live during their stunning concert at the Union Chapel venue in London during their last extensive tour of the UK in support of the hit ‘Invitation’ album that dropped in between lockdowns.
With this new body of work, the multi-skilled twins are able to showcase their effortless vocal harmonies thanks to the live setting which is one they totally thrive in thanks to their natural vocal ability and maturing on-stage presence and this record is a simply stunning collection that will stand the test of time.
The EP features gorgeous live versions of their hits ‘Carry You Home’, ‘Someday’, ‘Don’t Be A Stranger’, ‘One More Goodbye’ alongside their absolutely fantastic Country Medley and their breathtaking cover of John Mayer’s global smash ‘Stop This Train’ making for a brilliant mix of tracks.
There is something truly captivating about hearing Ward Thomas’ vocals live so it really is amazing to have this EP out in the world, especially for those who have yet to catch one of their shows as it does give listeners just a little taste of what you can expect at their gigs – which are always next level.
Speaking about the record via social media, the twin sisters, Catherine and Lizzy, said: “Helllooo all, happy Friday!!!!! Our live EP is OUT NOW!!! It has 6 live songs from our tour back in November! So happy to finally share some live tracks on their very own EP! Hope you enjoy” (sic)
