Ward Thomas Share ‘Someday – Acoustic’ Video

Two weeks ago British country-pop duo Ward Thomas dropped their fourth studio album titled ‘Invitation’ which was mostly completed in lockdown earlier this year with a vast majority of the impressive tracklist being created remotely following several writing sessions in Nashville.

And now following on from the success of their Top-40 chart hit LP, the record-making sisters have shared the official music video for the stunning acoustic version of their massive hit single ‘Someday’ which is currently playing across radio stations in support of their latest album.

The simplistic clip sees Ward Thomas bringing fans another take on the original video that was first shared for the official single earlier this Autumn. The new and updated visual is once again shot in the warehouse and follows on from the performance style but this time the twins are alone, singing the track unaccompanied.

The result of that stripped-back freedom allows for the Hampshire twins to truly let their vocal harmonies shine, as they deliver the song in its truest form with an acoustic backdrop and no production overlay which gives the duo the platform to showcase the immense storyline that is weaved throughout the lyrics.

Ward Thomas always shine a little brighter when they let their vocals take centre stage, and with this acoustic rendition of ‘Someday,’ they have given listeners a divine vocal showcase as they reimagine the track and drive it back to its country roots of the old rule of three chords and the truth.
