LIVE REVIEW: Twinnie @ C2C Festival
After an enforced 2 year hiatus due to the global Coronavirus pandemic, the esteemed Country to Country (C2C) Festival returned to the O2 Arena in London this past weekend for a three-day extravaganza of live music from national and international country music superstars and on-the-rise talent.
Performing four shows across the three days was British pop-country sensation Twinnie who shone on all the stages – performing a setlist that included hits from her 2020 debut LP ‘Hollywood Gypsy’ and several new tracks including her latest hit single ‘Welcome to the Club’ for the packed audience each afternoon.
Twinnie was born to be on stage and had the crowds in the palm of her hands as she rattled through an eclectic setlist of pop-infused anthems and soulful country ballads across the Town Square, CMW Hub, Big Entrance, and Indigo stages for a packed out audience – she drew some of the biggest crowds of the festival.
The York singer/songwriter shines when performing live with a killer on stage presence that rivals that of Shania Twain and an insane vocal control she proved once again that she is a true superstar and a natural performer who has what it takes to be able to sell out her own arena shows.
There is something truly spectacular about the way she can captivate an audience and very few artists possess what she does – she is a true entertainer and an artist made for live performing. She was a standout act at C2C and showcased that she deserves a shot at playing within the O2 Arena next year rather than just the surrounding stages.
