Laura Beckwith Announces New Single ‘Halfway’
British singer/songwriter Laura Beckwith has previously created songs within the pop music realm but always felt her lyrical style fitted better with the country music blueprint so with her latest offering ‘Halfway’ which drops September 25th, she delivers her very first country single and it is a major standout.
Having previously shared two pop songs, Laura dives headfirst into the country community with her debut release across the eclectic genre, and with the British and international well scene known for being supportive of newcomers, she is sure to be welcomed warmly into the family.
During her career so far, Laura Beckwith has created a dynamic presence across social media and has performed live since an early age with music very much being her main focus from the beginning with her attending theatre school where she learned to play piano and saw her love affair with music grow even deeper. And with ‘Halfway’ she has found her natural sonic sound and true home within country music.
Speaking about her upcoming release, Laura Beckwith says: “Halfway came after an extremely heated argument that went on for hours. All I wanted was for it to be resolved and somehow forget that it ever happened. Sometimes compromises have to be made in order for you to move on.”
The track is a brilliant country crossover offering that allows for the Brit singer/songwriter to take a sonic departure from full-on pop productions and instead delves into rootsy, country-driven production styles to create a stellar track that is a perfect modern-day country release.
