For King & Country Announce Deluxe Version Of ‘Burn The Ships’ Album
Grammy award-winning duo For King & Country have officially announced the exciting details of their latest project which will see them releasing a brand new and updated deluxe edition of their standout album ‘Burn The Ships’ with the extended version dropping on March 26th.
The collection that will be distributed via Curb Records will feature a 17-song tracklist including their Grammy-winning collaboration with country music icon Dolly Parton, alongside collabs with the likes of Tori Kelly, Kirk Franklin, Timbaland, and more making for an eclectic cross-genre offering.
The original LP from For King & Country consisting of Luke, and Joel was a multi-faceted project that brought together a hugely impressive number of songs including the breakout global smash-hit ‘God Only Knows’ the collaboration with Dolly which has so far garnered more than 48 million views.
Speaking about the forthcoming record, For King & Country say: “Thank you all for embarking on the Burn The Ships voyage over the last few years. Since the album’s release, there have been wonderful collaborations bringing with them new and fresh musical moments that we felt deserved to be grafted into this record’s story going forward. Our hope is this ‘complete edition’ brings with it a new emotion, depth, and spirit. It’s a beautiful way to close a chapter before they embark on the journey of crafting a new album and one that allows for ‘Burn The Ships’ to become fully ingrained with all the features, and collaborations that have been born since the LP’s original release with a stunning deluxe package.
