Foreign Affairs Share ‘One Minute’ Video

On the rise British country band, Foreign Affairs are ready to take 2020 by storm with the release of a whole host of new music that will put them on the map as one of the UK’s leading duo’s emerging onto the country music market as they deliver an outstanding eclectic genre blended sonic style.

And they have kicked off their exciting new era with the release of their standout single ‘One Minute’ which is the first taste of original new music from the brothers, Adam and Lawrence, since the release of their stellar debut EP ‘The Old Fire Station’ back in 2018 and once again they set a marker.

Along with sharing the audio for the new single, Foreign Affairs have also released the official music video for the powerful offering that sees them showcasing their impressive songwriting skills while Lawrence sings passionately about the many emotions we go through in life such as love and loss with the simple direct to camera approach adding another dimension.

Speaking about the clip, Foreign Affairs state: “One Minute is such a personal song to us, it’s like an open letter and one long thought. We wanted the music video to show just as much emotion as the song itself, and we thought the best way to accomplish this was to make it simple. Delivering a monologue directly to the camera lets the audience see every moment of emotion, and being that close to Lawrence’s eyes creates a feeling that it is being delivered directly to you. There are no camera tricks or frills to this music video as we knew the most important thing was focusing on the emotion and lyrics.”

The overall effect of the visual is emotive and empowering and allows the lyrical story to truly shine. Without all the frills attached, we are able to hear the passionate words laid bare and the result is spellbinding and allows for the duo to create a wonderfully striking offering.
