Orville Peck Announces New Single ‘Legends Never Die’ With Shania Twain
Fast-rising country music talent Orville Peck will share his brand new and much-anticpted EP ‘Show Pony’ on August 14th with the record promising to be an eclectic blend of sonic sounds creating a truly outstanding country crossover blended stylistic. The record is set to be a huge breakout and will no doubt be one of the most impressive releases of 2020.
With a social media following of over 300k Peck is already one of the most in-demand country voices and this forthcoming project is set to further boost his career especially across the global market thanks to star power he has featured and because he is an extremely talented artist in his own right.
The ‘Show Pony’ EP is the direct follow-up to the hit full-length album ‘Pony’ which dropped back in March of last year. His name has been on the rise for quite some time and this newest release will no doubt spark further interest in his musical output.
And during the announcement of his upcoming EP, Orville Peck has cranked up the excitement by confirming that the tracklist will feature a single with the one and only Shania Twain. Orville enlisted the help of the country-pop icon on the song titled ‘Legends Never Die’ and it will be available to stream and download on the same day as ‘Show Pony’ drops.
Speaking about teaming up with the Queen of country-pop on the upcoming single, Peck says: “I can barely believe that I got THE country music icon on a duet I wrote for it [‘Show Pony]. As the kids say- it’s a bop. Can’t wait for y’all to see what we’ve cooked up”.
Shania herself also took to social media to confirm the eagerly anticipated collaboration. Along with working with Orville Peck, the Canadian legend has also been holed up in the studio during quarantine working on the follow-up to her 2017 comeback album ‘Now’.
