RaeLynn Releases New Single ‘Me About You’

Platinum-selling country music sensation RaeLynn has quickly become one of the leading voices across the scene thanks to her powerful vocal display, and impressive songwriting skills. She is a huge talent and a real gem in the country scene’s crown. And this August she will share her brand new EP ‘Baytown’ which will drop on the 14th and promises to be one of the major standout releases of the year.

As she continues the promo trail for the forthcoming project, this past week RaeLynn shared her stellar new single ‘Me About You’ which is the latest official taste of her upcoming EP and it’s a gorgeous, gentle offering that tells of a poignant goodbye, with a soulful guitar backdrop and thought-provoking lyrical story this is possibly the performer’s best release to date.

Co-written by RaeLynn with Bob DiPiero (BMI Icon and Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame member) and Jeff Garrison the heartfelt, emotive track was sparked into life following a tender heart-to-heart conversation with a close friend and the result is this outstanding song that pulls at the heartstrings.

Speaking about her newest release, RaeLynn says: “We were talking about past relationships, and I told her about a situation with an ex where I knew everything about him, but he never asked me about me. It made me realize that I wasn’t alone, a lot of people have probably had the experience of a relationship being one-sided like that.”

The track follows on from the fiery recent releases ‘Keep Up’ and ‘Bra Off’ with all three songs being featured on the ‘Baytown’ tracklist. The six-song project perfectly captures her infectious personality and shines a light on all her traits, the Corey Crowder-produced release is an impressive one.
