Ward Thomas Release New Album ‘Music In The Madness’

British country music duo Ward Thomas return today (March 10th) with the release of their fifth studio album titled ‘Music In The Madness’ which follows on from their 2020 lockdown album ‘Invitation’ which saw them venture further into mainstream pop territories but now they are back to their roots.

‘Music In The Madness’ is centred in the heart and soul of what country music is: true storytelling – this is a collection that is layered with stunning harmonies and intricate lyrics that showcase the very best of Ward Thomas and what they are capable of. Some singers were born for the country genre and Catherine and Lizzy are two of those.

The pair never fail to deliver songs that have meaning even with their pop offerings but when they go back to their sonic roots that is where the real magic happens and this collection is filled with those moments that make you sit up and truly listen to what they have to say and you want to hear all those nuances they have included too.

The twin sisters are in an exciting new chapter of their lives as women in their late 20s, with Catherine especially as she is ready to open a new chapter by her becoming a first-time mother later this year and those feelings of change and empowerment come through loud and clear in the tracklist.
